![]() ![]() ![]() The Franklin Township Police Department’s highly experienced detectives utilize both traditional and modern technologies in order to get offenders off the streets and ensure a successful prosecution. Working together, we identify problems, decide on the most promising solutions, and monitor the solutions to ensure that they’re working. Through time and patience, we build and strengthen lasting relationships between the police department and business owners, school officials, civic groups, social agencies, and residents in order to enhance performance, maximize resources, and prevent crime. We keep our community safe with a philosophy and management style that partners with community members to address crime and its causes, and to support other community interests.It is a deep and long-term commitment to the overall health and safety of the community. Officers respond to roughly 38,000 calls for service per year and cover over 65 square miles in Franklin Township, Newfield Borough, and Buena Borough. The department also consists of a four-man K9 unit, Tactical Patrol Unit, Police Unity Tour Team and Firearms Unit. Sergeants Anthony Rojas, Andrew Myers, Joseph Murray, and Steve Casamassima supervise our four patrol shifts and Detective Sergeant Nick Pasculli is the supervisor of the Detective Bureau. Our department is comprised of 37 full-time officers and four Class III Special Officers. Captain Muller oversees the Patrol & Investigative Divisions and Lieutenant McGuigan oversees the Professional Standards Division. The Franklin Township Police Department is led by an experienced command staff consisting of Chief Matthew DeCesari, Captain Gordon Muller, and Lieutenant Jeffrey McGuigan.
